The Bennington Public Library is Turning 60

The Bennington Public Library was established on May 14, 1948 by the Bennington Junior Woman’s Club.  In honor of that event, an Open House will be held on Monday, May 12th in the Library’s community room from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  Members of the GFWC Bennington Woman’s Club will host the event and hope you will come and share the joy of 60 years of a library in our community.

Join the Circle of Knowledge @ the Bennington Public Library as we celebrate National Library Week April 13-19. Stop in for a special treat, book drawing giveaways, and fine forgiveness all week. Children who join the library for the first time receive a free book bag.
