The 2008 Summer Reading Program is open to children, preschool through fifth grade (grade just completed) for four weekly sessions during the month of June with programs, prizes, story times, reading for prizes, and more! Reading log sheets will be available for all children through 5th grade who want to read and win prizes.
Session Schedule:

Preschool (3 – 5 year olds)
Mondays (June 2, 9, 16, 23)
1:30 – 2:15 *** 2:30 – 3:15
Kindergartners (just completed kindergarten)
Tuesdays (June 3, 10, 17, 24)
12:30 – 1:15 *** 1:30 – 2:15 *** 2:30 – 3:15
First Graders (just completed first grade)
Wednesdays (June 4, 11, 18, 25)
12:30 – 1:15 *** 1:30 – 2:15 *** 2:30 – 3:15
2nd & 3rd Graders (just completed 2nd or 3rd grade)
Thursdays (June 5, 12, 19, 26)
12:30 – 1:15 *** 1:30 – 2:15
4th & 5th Graders (just completed 4th or 5th grade)
Thursdays ( June 5, 12, 19, 26)
2:30 – 3:15
SUMMER READING KICK-OFF EVENT
Thursday, May 29th at 10:00 AM in the Bennington Elementary School Gym
Historical Storyteller, Cherri Beam-Clarke will present Nature Naturally, humorous and educational stories for all ages.  There will be lots to see, lots of laughter and lots to touch!  Everyone in the community is welcome.  Please join us!

TEENS & TWEENS

Metamorphosis @ Your Library is the theme for the teens and tweens (7th-12th graders) summer program.  Wednesday evening activities on June 4, 11, 18, and 25 include Yoga by EveryBODY Yoga, Dining Etiquette Jeopardy!™at Sugar Cubes Tea Room, Henna Tattoos by Kole Gansebom, and Big Bug Sci-Fi Movie Night.
